Track for Moog Sound Studio

Known for flawlessly fusing deep house and hip-hop styles into a sound that is uniquely his own, Brooklyn-based Galcher Lustwerk used the new Moog Sound Studio: Mother-32 & DFAM & Subharmonicon to bring us “Real Estate.” This piece is one of seven tracks that make up the latest ‘Explorations in Analog Synthesis’ compilation EP (available on our SoundCloud)!
“I started by just syncing all three up and jamming, with the resulting stems I found a few nice spots and looped them, did a string arrangement on top, then wrote some lyrics and recorded them in one take. It all happened pretty naturally. I enjoyed letting the Subharmonicon get wide open with the low end harmonics, which still bump even for how complex they sound. The bass that you hear in the track is coming straight from the Subharmonicon, no processing. I decided to let that be the focal point over the kick drum, volume wise."
